4th Year Electives Dear Student, We at Abington are excited about your interest in an
elective experience in Internal Medicine. Please
note that the electives presume that
you have successfully completed your core clinical clerkships or, at a minimum,
the clerkship in Internal Medicine. In
choosing an elective please: 1. Call the office at 215-481-4350 and request to speak
with Dr. Peff or Ms. Juiliano regarding the elective and time period you want.

Up-coming fourth year medical students from Temple University Hospital
choose electives at Abington by lottery in the spring of their third year,
according to a block schedule. Therefore, availability of any elective is based
upon an existing schedule. Please do not
call the preceptor directly for availability or schedule changes. 2. Once the elective you want has been confirmed by Dr.
Peff’s office, please submit, in writing, the following: a.
Confirmation from your school that you are a student in good standing in
your 4th year. 3.
